The trapper/garment tanning prices reflect furs that are prepared for the market. This means the pelts must be scraped clean of all meat and fat, stretched and dried or dry salted. Fur must be clean and free of burrs, blood, and debris. Any pelt received for trapper/garment tanning not properly prepared will be charged full taxidermy tanning price which could be up to 100% extra or more.

Damage Policy
Due to the many variables associated with the outcome of a finished product, we only accept pelts on the terms ALL TANNING IS DONE AT OWNER RISK. There are many factors that could impact poor results such as the condition of the skin, storage, and age, improper preparation and handling of the skin, and overall health of the animal. Additionally, due to the nature of fur tanning and the equipment used, there are possibilities for damages such as small holes or tears. Although we do our best to avoid any and all damages, understand it does occur.
