Too Much Oil??

Taxidermist have different opinions on how much oil should be felt on a wet-tan skin.  Should you feel your skin has a little too much oil on the surface, you can wash it in warm 85 F water with a mild detergent, then rinse in clean warm water.  The washing will not harm the skin.  This procedure may also be used on long hairs, fur for wet tan bears and small game.
