Many of our clients who receive international shipments choose to have them consigned directly to Carolina Fur Dressing. This takes necessary time and paperwork off the taxidermist and gives us the responsibility of clearing the shipment through the proper government agencies.
Carolina Fur Dressing is a USDA approved facility for accepting international shipments, but all international shipments must clear U.S Customs first. It is highly recommended to use a customs brokerage service to clear customs. The customs brokerage service can clear the shipment and then forward to Carolina Fur Dressing. We will remove the skins, make a list of the contents and call the taxidermist for instructions. All swine and primates will be treated, and all skulls and horns will be shipped back to the taxidermist.
International shipments are received daily. Skins are removed and skulls are shipped to the taxidermist.
